Who are Fedima Tyres?

R31/FEDIMA is a Portuguese company with a 40 year experience in retreaded tires.

Located in Alcobaça, Portugal, the company currently occupies an area of 15,000 m2.

In 1991 R31 registed two brands, Fedima for ranges of passenger, 4x4, motorsport, light-truck and truck, and Cafema for the agricultural market.

In 1998 the company joined the certification process of Bridgestone / Firestone Europe, BFE for the reconstruction of truck tires hot-cured and pre-cured- Qualitread, with a total of 1,250,000 Euros Investment.

Fedima is certified since 2000 by the NP EN ISO 9001:2000, and since 2002 has all its products homologated by regulations 108 and 109. R31/FEDIMA provides high quality tires, high performance and security at a competitive price.

Fedima/R31 began its internationalization process by exporting its products to markets physical and cultural proximity, first to Spain, then France. Currently exports to 30 countries, where its name is a reference.

The growing and investment made to develop the 4x4 retread tyre market was undoubtedly one of Fedima tyres best bet since 1998.

Another market that Fedima are pioneers in our industry, what is the competition, launched in 2000 with the Super Truck, then follow with competitions 4x4 Off-Road, where we have numerous professional victories in a demanding test, years ago all Europe.

Recently Fedima have been focuisng on Motorsport. Fedima tyres Invested in ranges for Tarmac and Gravel, for the Rally championship and Auto-Cross. Once again, ensuring the best final product reflects on the behavior of tires on the track.
